ALPMA Seminar: How to Build a Business Case for Security (VIC)

ALPMA Seminar: How to Build a Business Case for Security (VIC)

  • Event
  • 4 April - 4 April 2019

Security is not about technology, or people, or processes – it is about risk. Each firm needs to make a unique, informed business decision on risk. The decision will drive investment in remediation efforts, whether it be people, process or technology.

As an ALPMA Corporate Partner, we look forward to attending ALPMA’s monthly seminars.

Outcomes from the workshop

  1. Identify the business drivers behind security within a law firm (clients, legislation, profits, competition)
  2. Understand the current state of what is happening in security landscape (incidents, statistics, surveys)
  3. Review the security framework in which firms must operate (immature, intermediate, mature)
  4. Consideration around the people and processes (policies, procedures, training)

Time:  4pm-5:30pm

Venue: Clarence Chambers, Level 11, 456 Lonsdale Street , MELBOURNE VIC

ALPMA Members are free.
